Adi Hütter on…

…the personnel situation: “Martin Hinteregger had a calf problem but he’s back in contention for the weekend after yesterday’s training session. Jonny de Guzman is still injured and won’t be available. Mijat Gacinovic (adductor muscle) will also miss out.”

…fresh attacking options:
“We have four strikers at our disposal. We’ll see whether we go with two or three. Bas Dost could obviously start. With Daichi Kamada, we have a type of option that we’ve not had before. He can play behind the front two and be a goal threat, even though he’s been unlucky in front of goal. He has the ability to play the final ball, he’s a strong runner and he can get in behind. Mijat can also make those runs. We want to be flexible and unpredictable.”

…FC Augsburg: “I see FC Augsburg as a very popular club who put together a powerful team every year and belong in the Bundesliga. On the one hand they have quality players and on the other they’re difficult to break down.”

…the state of play: “We’ve had the better start with two wins but FCA are tricky opponents, particularly at home. I’m expecting a physical battle between two teams who want to attack. We want to build on our start and we’re looking forward to the challenge. We know from the return fixture last season that it won’t be easy. We need a good away performance. If we play like we did at Leipzig, we can get something.”
