Head coach Adi Hütter is wary of Dortmund’s “high-tempo football” as his side bids to continue its unbeaten run when they head to the Signal Iduna Park on Friday.

Adi Hütter is urging his players not to afford BVB too much space.

Adi Hütter on…

…Eintracht’s poor record in Dortmund: “Dortmund are one of the best teams in Germany in recent years and have yet to lose at home this season. Despite all that, we’ll try to use the momentum we’ve gained in 2020 to put in a very good away performance.”

…the two teams’ recent form: “I don’t know if it’d be easier if Dortmund had won five games in a row. On the one hand, the pressure on them has increased following back-to-back defeats. On the other hand, we’re probably not the team they want to be facing at the moment. We just want to continue our run. That’s why I’m expecting an interesting game.”

…the Eagles’ approach: “In the second half of the season, BVB have conceded goals after losing the ball in their build-up play. On top of that, with [Erling] Haaland and [Jadon] Sancho, Dortmund are all about high-tempo football. We need the right balance, making sure we press high and drop deep in the right moments. Giving Dortmund space would be fatal.”
