Brazilian centre-back Tuta has signed for Belgian top-flight club KV Kortrijk on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old has signed a deal until 30 June 2020 with Kortrijk, who are currently 10th in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. The contract does not include a purchase option. Tuta moved to Frankfurt from Brazilian giants FC São Paulo during the winter break.

“Tuta has progressed very well in the last six months – on and off the pitch,” commented Eintracht board member Fredi Bobic. “We’re pleased with him and believe he has a long-term future here, but now it’s important for him to get playing time at the highest level possible. We had a very good experience with Daichi Kamada’s recent loan spell in Belgium.”
