Former Acquaintance

27-year-old attacking midfielder Änis Ben-Hatira joins Eintracht until summer 2016 after he recently terminated his contract with Hertha BSC Berlin. He featured in 81 Bundesliga games for Hamburger SV and Hertha (13 goals), won the Under-21 EURO with Germany in 2009 and also had eight appearances in Tunisia's national side. His Eintracht shirt number will be the 32.

Sporting Director Bruno Hübner: "I know Änis from my time at Duisburg where he was on loan from Hamburg and our coach Armin Veh knows him from their Hamburg time. Ben-Hatira is experienced and can play in various positions, he is most comfortable on the left wing. He will be yet another good alternative for our attacking play."

Youngster Regäsel

Yanni Regäsel (20) is a right defender and joins Eintracht on a contract until June 2019. He is a Germany youth player and was trained at Hertha Berlin's youth academy. Regäsel had his Bundesliga debut this season and six appearances, he will receive shirt number 2 at SGE.

Bruno Hübner: "Originally we planned this transfer for next season but we were able to get Yanni on board right away, that way he will have time to settle in."
