Dominik Kohr reflects on Wednesday’s friendly against Hertha, shares his thoughts on Eintracht’s training camp and predicts a strong start to the second half of the campaign.

Hello everyone,

I’m writing to you from St. Petersburg, where we played our friendly against Hertha Berlin on Wednesday evening. We ended up losing 2-1, but you could tell there’s a good general atmosphere within the squad. We’ve worked very hard in the last few days, which is as it should be. That’s why I’m confident we’ll have a little more freshness in our legs and minds after returning home and having a little time off.

I’m convinced we can make a good start to the second half of the Bundesliga season. You can see in training that everyone’s pushing one another, and that was the case in the friendly too. At this stage of our preparations it’s impossible for everything to go to plan, but the key is that we gave everything. The result was of secondary importance.

I’m sending you best wishes from Florida and hope you’re having a nice time in Frankfurt. Ciao!

Yours,

Dominik Kohr
