Eintracht Frankfurt youth products Tobias Stirl and Patrice Kabuya have been handed professional contracts at the club.

Eighteen-year-olds Tobias Stirl and Patrice Kabuya have both signed professional contracts at Eintracht, one year before their existing youth contracts were due to expire. Goalkeeper Stirl has been at the club since 2015 and impressed at the two pre-season training camps in the USA and Gais. The born-and-bred Frankfurter made 12 appearances in the Under-19 Bundesliga last season.

Midfielder Kabuya missed much of the previous campaign due to a knee ligament injury, but still managed to score two goals in four games for the U19s and has been one of the standout performers in preparations for the new season.

Kraaz delighted for young pair

“We’re obviously very proud that two more of our youngsters have been given professional contracts,” commented Armin Kraaz, head of Eintracht Frankfurt’s academy. “Tobias Stirl is a real Frankfurt boy, and Patrice Kabuya has progressed through all our academy teams since 2009. That was recently the case with Sebastian Jung and Cenk Tosun. We’re very pleased for both of them.”
