Excitement is building to fever pitch for Eintracht head coach Adi Hütter and Marco Russ ahead of Thursday's UEFA Europa League group match at home to S.S. Lazio.

Adi Hütter on...

... excitement levels ahead of the game:
"We've been looking forward to these kinds of games since before the season started, so there's definitely a tingle of excitement there already. Our fans will drive us forward in a match as important as this one. We know Lazio are one of the two favourites to win the group, but we'd like to put ourselves in a good position by winning."

… the opposition:
"Lazio are a team with a lot of experience. They're very disciplined tactically and almost always play in a 3-5-2 formation. I watched them against Salzburg last year and watched a lot of Italian football in general while I was in Switzerland. They're a very good team. In Ciro Immobile they've got a world-class striker in their ranks so we'll have to be wary of him, but we won't man-mark him or anything like that."

… personnel:
"Currently it doesn't like our captain David Abraham is going to be ready in time for the game, while Francisco Geraldes will likewise miss out. Apart from the long-term absentees we've got everyone else available. We'll bring one or two fresh faces into the side tomorrow. We had a difficult game against Hannover and have got a tough match at Hoffenheim ahead of us."

Marco Russ on...

... home advantage
"A lot of us don't know what we’re in for on Thursday. The stadium will be full and the fans will give us their full backing. With the crowd behind us I think we can win. They've been setting up the tifos all day. There'll be an incredible atmosphere, which I'll enjoy. We never forget what our fans do in European games, be it home or away. They're the kind of experiences that stay with you for life. We have to enjoy it."
