Even after producing a full-throttle display against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, the Eintracht Frankfurt players were full of energy in their first training session of the week.

David Abraham was absent from the training group of 20 outfield players and three goalkeepers, with the Argentinian defender continuing to work individually following a calf injury. The numerous onlookers did get a glimpse of new signing Almamy Touré for the first time, although his fellow January arrival Tuta remains in Brazil sorting out final passport arrangements.

On the field – but not in the thick of the action – was Lucas Torró, who is easing back into ball work alongside his fitness regime after an adductor injury. Luka Jovic, withdrawn with illness against Dortmund, did some gentle jogging before heading back inside before his team-mates.

The remaining Eagles were put through their paces with a series of drills in preparation for Saturday's crunch game at Leipzig (kick-off: 15:30 CET).
