The Eagles won a Sunday friendly against Al-Alhi FC 5-1. Alex Meier (2), Huszti, Waldschmidt and Gacinovic scored for SGE, Salman for Al-Alhi.

It was the first run-out for Eintracht's new signings Fabian and Huszti who were in the starting line-up and also Ayhan who came on after the break. Alex Meier scored the early lead eight minutes into the match, Huszti extended the score line with a neat direct free-kick effort (34'). SGE goalie Hradecky saved a penalty in between the first two goals.

Al-Alhi got one back before the break (38') but the Eagles topped up their lead soon after the re-start; again Meier (47') and also Waldschmidt (50') scored. Manager Armin Veh had brought on plenty of substitutes, Gacinovic scored the final goal (88') in a good match.
