SGE win test match against Fulham FC
On the last day of the training camp in Windischgarsten (AUT), Eintracht played a friendly against English second-division club Fulham FC. Check out our short match report.
Overall, Eintracht were the dominant team in a match comprising only few goalscoring chances. With 37 minutes on the clock, Swiss international Haris Seferovic scored the only goal from six yards out. He hammered in an indirect free-kick after Fulham keeper Andy Lonergan had picked up a back-pass.
Eintracht Head Coach Armin Veh said after the game, "We played against an opponent who made it tight and did not allow a lot of goalscoring chances. Such games are very important in the preparation stage. In the second half, several players from our own youth academy were on the field. Overall, I am very satisfied with our performace."
