Adi Hütter and his players were unanimous in their assessment of Friday’s 2-2 draw at home to Hertha Berlin.

Head coach Adi Hütter: “I congratulate Hertha on getting a point. After going 2-0 down we fought back magnificently. We deserved to win after all the effort we put in, but we didn’t reap the rewards. I believed we could win until the very end. We’ll get back on track soon, though. The team’s attitude is exceptional.”

Frederik Rönnow: “We did well and created a lot of chances. We should have left the pitch as clear winners today. The opener came out of nothing and had an element of luck about it, but we made it too easy for our opponents in the build-up to the goals. The important thing is that we didn’t give up and fought back after going 2-0 down. This team has character and we showed that again today.”

Martin Hinteregger:
“It hurts that we weren’t able to win the game. We had a lot of chances, particularly from set-pieces and corners. We should have won quite comfortably, really. It’s nice to have picked up a point again, although we were missing that little bit of luck to get all three points. We were 2-0 down out of nothing but could still have won 3-2 in the end.”
