Besuschkow, who completed a medical on Tuesday afternoon, will link up with Kiel immediately and turn out for the second-tier high-flyers for the second half of the season. Only promoted last term, the northern club currently sit third and are pushing for promotion to the Bundesliga.

"Max Besuschkow has made good progress with us in the last few months, even if he hasn't had enough playing time to show what he can do," said Sporting Director Bruno Hübner. "He needs regular action and we hope that he can get it at a strong second-division outfit. This loan is a good deal for all parties."

Besuschkow, 20, joined the Eagles from VfB Stuttgart in January 2017 and although he made four appearances last term, he is yet to feature competitively this campaign.
