Marius Wolf has departed Eintracht Frankfurt after agreeing a transfer to Borussia Dortmund.

The 23-year-old winger joined Eintracht from Hannover 96 in January 2017 on an initial loan deal, but the Eagles exercised their option to make the transfer permanent a year later.

Attacking menace

Wolf, a versatile attacker who can play in a number of positions, made 31 Bundesliga appearances and seven DFB Cup outings in his 18 months with Eintracht and was in the starting line-up in the recent cup triumph in Berlin. His impressive performances throughout the season, in which he contributed five goals and nine assists, caught the eye of UEFA Champions League participants Borussia Dortmund, where he has signed a contract valid until 2023. Eintracht Frankfurt would like to wish him all the best for the future.
