Adi Hütter on…

… his expectations of the match: “It’s a key game. Liège are very strong at home, they have a great stadium and great fans. We want to get a result here because it could come down to head-to-head. Liège will want to win and therefore they’ll be more attacking than they were in Frankfurt. We need to counter that and we’ll get our chances as well.”

… the importance of the match:
“As I said, it’s a key game tomorrow. We have respect because Liège’s home record is impressive and they have a better team than last season. We want to take a big step towards the round of 32 [ed. The press conference took place during the Arsenal match].”

… André Silva: “I brought him on against Bayern because I felt he could still make an impact and he was chomping at the bit. I’m glad he’s back. We’ll see tomorrow whether he plays from the start.”

Gelson Fernandes on…

… the ban on away fans: “We always enjoy the support we get from our fans on the road. Sadly they won’t be there but we’ll play for them and give everything.”

… the atmosphere: “It’s perhaps the best atmosphere in Belgium here.”

… playing midweek:
“These are the best weeks!”
