Willems is 23 years old and had his debut for the Dutch national team at the age of 18 only (22 caps since then). He joined PSV in 2011 and recorded 144 Eredivisie matches as well as 30 in European competitions.

Eintracht board member Fredi Bobic: "We are glad that the deal came together, despite the brief delay after his medical. That happens though and is nothing unusual. The main thing is that Jetro is with us now; he is a young player with high ambitions and will reinforce our squad."

The new left defender Jetro Willems will receive shirt number 15 and is happy about meeting the team tomorrow: "Joining a club with good prospects and where I would play regularly was essential to me. I am convinced that I will take my career to the next level at Eintracht."

Welcome to the Eintracht family Jetro!
