The Eintracht Frankfurt players were made to work hard in their first training session since returning from their Florida training camp.

After giving the Eintracht players two days off following their mid-season training camp in the USA, head coach Adi Hütter put his charges through their paces in the Eagles’ first session since their return from the States. Among the 21 outfield players and three goalkeepers taking part were Allan Souza and Mijat Gacinovic, who spent three quarters of an hour doing laps of the pitch as they work their way back to full fitness. Nelson Mandela Mbouhom and Lucas Torró, who have also spent time on the sidelines recently, took part in some light running, while Evan Ndicka missed the session due to his driving test.

Ready, set, go!

The intensity of the session increased considerably around half an hour in, when the players were guided through various sprint exercises. The training match at the end of the session was no less strenuous.
The Eagles will train behind closed doors on Thursday and Friday before kicking off the second half of their Bundesliga campaign at home to SC Freiburg on Saturday 19 January (kick-off 15:30 CET).
