Gacinovic's Serbia pick up point in Romania
Things continue to go well for the Eintracht Frankfurt players involved in the UEFA Nations League. Mijat Gacinovic's Serbia earned a draw in Bucharest, while Taleb Tawatha's Israel recorded a second straight win.
It has been a perfect international break for Tawatha. Following the 2-1 win against Scotland on Thursday, Israel ran out 2-0 winners at home to Albania on Sunday. The Frankfurt left-back was on the pitch for 77 minutes, helping his team to move clear at the top of Group 1 in League C of the Nations League.
Elsewhere in League C, Serbia remain top of Group 4 following a 0-0 draw in Romania on Sunday. A starter, Gacinovic played 63 minutes in Bucharest, while his Eintracht team-mate Filip Kostic was an unused substitute.
Denmark, whose squad includes Frederik Rönnow, are in League B Group 4. The Danes faced the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Saturday, the match ending goalless. Eintracht goalkeeper Rönnow watched the action from the bench.
