Adi Hütter on…

…the teams’ current situations: “We always believe we can get a good result. We managed to gain confidence against Hoffenheim. Leipzig are the team of the moment, they’ve won eight of their last nine [Bundesliga] games and drawn 3-3 against Dortmund. The facts make Leipzig the favourites. We need to build on the tactical discipline we showed last week while also being brave and looking for our chances, especially being at home. It’ll also be about forcing our game on Leipzig.”

…team news: “Daichi Kamada has trained with us all week, he just sat out one of the two sessions on Wednesday. He’s in contention for the squad. As for the rest, everyone’s currently available apart from the long-term absentees.”

…tactical considerations: There’s always the option to play with two strikers, and similarly to switch between three and four at the back. I’ll decide on that after the final training session, so I’m still leaving it open as to whether Mijat Gacinovic will start or not. The same with Makoto Hasebe, who’s a very important player for us. It’s always about the big picture, the performance and each situation.”

…next targets: “I don’t like the cliché ‘taking it one game at a time’. For me, it’s always about the team’s development. I stressed last week that one win doesn’t make everything perfect again. We need to keep working hard in order to pick up points regularly. One win alone doesn’t take us much further. We want to get as many points as possible over the coming weeks, and then we’ll see where we’re at.”
