The Eintracht squad can look back on a decidedly successful training camp in Spain as they make their way back to Frankfurt today.

Eintracht are preparing for the second half of the Bundesliga season in Alicante until Sunday. We will keep you updated every day with how the Eagles are getting on, providing the latest news from the Coca-Cola-sponsored training camp.

Departure: The training camp in Spain ends today, with the team flying back to Frankfurt from Murcia at 15:00CET. “We’ve had a very productive time here in Spain,” said sporting director Bruno Hübner. “The facilities were excellent and we’ve been able to do some really good work. The friendly match against Aue was also good from both a performance and personnel point of view.”

Winners: The players weren’t the only ones to enjoy the training camp. Nico and Sissi Falgner and their daughter Anni were delighted to be a part of it too – the Eintracht fans won a competition with Coca-Cola to accompany the team to Alicante, spending all six days with the squad. “It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” said the pair.

Birthday boy: It’s a special day for Danny Blum – the Eintracht winger turns 27 today. Many happy returns, Danny!

Cup: Just after the team land back in Frankfurt at 18:00CET, the draw for the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup will take place, with handball world champion Oliver Roggisch picking the names out of the hat. “We’re excited to see who we come up against,” said Hübner.
