Eintracht will play a friendly against FC Kazanka Moscow next week at the Riederwaldstadion, the home of the club's youth development centre. The game will take place on Wednesday 7 March, kicking off at 15:00 CET. For logistical reasons, the friendly will be played behind closed doors but there will be a live stream on EintrachtTV. It will give the coaching staff the chance to give players who have not featured much for the first team some playing time in match conditions.

FC Kazanka Moscow play in the Russian third division and act as the feeder club for FC Lokomotiv Moscow, the current leaders in the Premier League. The Russian club will be in Rüsselsheim for a training camp from Monday 5 March to Friday 16 March, and the game against Eintracht will be the highlight of their stay. The side are coached by Denis Klyuev, whose playing career included 27 appearances for FC Schalke 04 between 1997 and 1999.
