The sporting tribunal of the German Football Association (DFB) has handed Eagles defender David Abraham a seven-week ban and a fine of 25,000 euros for “violent conduct towards an opponent”. Eintracht Frankfurt and the player will appeal the decision, giving the 33-year-old an opportunity to appear in front of the tribunal and comment on events during Sunday’s match in Freiburg.
