Eintracht began their week’s training on Tuesday as they look to maintain the performance level they produced in the opening match of the year.

Seven fixtures await the Eagles in February alone, including two midweek matches. On Tuesday, preparations for their next test against Leipzig at the Commerzbank-Arena on Saturday (kick-off 15:30 CET) got under way.

Kamada steps up recovery

The mood among the players was as bright as the sun in Frankfurt. Fit-again Marijan Cavar and Sahverdi Cetin were back with the group, while Daichi Kamada resumed individual training following his ligament injury, leaving only the long-term absentees on the sidelines. The Eagles therefore had good reason to go about their work with smiles on their faces. “After ending the drought against Hoffenheim, we obviously want to maintain the good feeling for as long as possible,” affirmed Almamy Toure, who impressed over the 90 minutes in Sinsheim.

Personnel numbers are growing, as are demands – and hopefully the points tally will too over the coming weeks and months. Before that, Adi Hütter’s men have a double shift on Wednesday and one session each on Thursday and Friday, all closed to the public.
