Eagles face St. Pauli in DFB Cup second round
Eintracht will take on FC St. Pauli at the Millerntor-Stadion in the second round of the DFB Cup at the end of October.
Eintracht’s winning goal against Hoffenheim came inside the first minute, but Eagles fans had to wait until the very end of the DFB Cup second-round draw to discover their opponents in the next round of the competition.
In Sunday’s draw, which was conducted by Christoph Metzelder and Stefan Kuntz at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, Eintracht were handed a trip to the Millerntor-Stadion to face Bundesliga 2 side FC St. Pauli. The game will take place on Tuesday 29 October or Wednesday 30 October.
The Hamburg-based club, who beat VfB Lübeck 4-3 on penalties in the first round, are currently in 17th place in Bundesliga 2, having lost two and drawn one of their three matches so far.
The exact date and kick-off time - as well as ticket information - will be released in due course.
