The German Football Association (DFB) sports tribunal rejected Jetro Willems' appeal against his ban at a hearing in Frankfurt today.

As such, Willems will be suspended for three matches after the DFB sports tribunal upheld the original verdict handed down on 4 September 2018. The left-back was sent off by referee Sören Storks in the 32nd minute of Eintracht's clash at home to SV Werder Bremen for violent conduct. Eintracht Frankfurt and Willems will now decide whether to launch an appeal against today's decision with the DFB federal court.
