Debut for Ndicka, Hinteregger out of action
There was more success for Frankfurt’s internationals on Monday evening, with two centre-backs registering positive results.
Evan Ndicka made his first appearance for France’s under-21 side in a friendly against the Czech Republic. The 20-year-old played 78 minutes of the 3-1 win for ‘Les Bleus’.
Martin Hinteregger meanwhile was forced to sit out Austria’s goalless draw away to Poland in EURO 2020 qualifying Group G because of a muscular problem. The result meant that Austria missed the chance to leapfrog their opponents at the top of the table and leaves them in third place after six matches.
