Eintracht are happy to announce their third signing, Danny Blum, and will play a test match against Atalanta Bergamo. Carlos Zambrano will leave the Eagles and join Rubin Kazan.

Danny Blum Joins SGE

Last Thursday Eintracht announced their third signing for the new season, Danny Blum. The 25-year-old forward signed a one-year-contract with the Eagles, which can be extended for another two years. Blum joins SGE from 1. FC Nürnberg – Eintrachts opponent in the relegation play-off matches.

Danny Blum: "I am looking forward to take the next step in my career with Eintracht and hope that I can contribute to a successful season. During the relegation play-off matches with Nürnberg the atmosphere at the Commerzbank Arena and Eintracht's incredible fans were quite impressive."

Test Match against Atalanta Bergamo

On 6 August 2016 Eintracht will play a test match against Serie A team Atalanta Bergamo. Kick-off will be at 20.30 CET at the "Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia" – two weeks before the match against 1. FC Magdeburg in the first round of the DFB Cup.

Carlos Zambrano Joins Rubin Kazan

Carlos Zambrano will join Rubin Kazan. The transfer is not final yet, but all parties involved believe that it will be finalized next week. Hence, Zambrano was allowed to join his new club. Carlos joined Eintracht in 2012 and has had 117 appearances for the Eagles.
