Almamy Toure drafted into France U21 squad
Eintracht Frankfurt defender Almamy Toure has been called up to the France Under-21 squad for Thursday’s game against Germany.
Nine Eagles stars jetted off to play for their respective national teams at the beginning of the week, and another one joined them on Wednesday after Almamy Toure was called up by France’s Under-21s for Thursday’s game against Germany in Essen (kick-off 18:30 CET). This is the first time that Toure, who has made four league appearances for Adi Hütter’s side since joining the club from AS Monaco in January, has been called up to play for a national side. The 22-year-old Bamako-born defender also holds Malian citizenship.
