3-0 win against Real Betis
The Eagles won the test match against Real Betis 3-0 at Brita Arena in Wiesbaden; Chandler, Wolf and Barkok scored for SGE.
Makoto Hasebe was in the starting line-up in a sweeper position with Russ and Abraham in central defense; Tawatha and Chandler were left and right back. Fernandes started in midfield while up front Haller and Jovic were in attack together for the first time since joining.
Eintracht started with early chances of Jovic and Russ, and Sevilla also came forward with attempts of Navaez and Moron as Real Betis increased the pressure. Marius Wolf connected with a through-ball of da Costa and added to the lead (69'), Aymen Barkok sorted out the final 3-0 score line with a cool finish from a Hrgota pass (73').
