2,200 saw plenty of new players in Niko Kovac's line-up, he swapped 10 of them for the second half. While summer signing Sebastien Haller scored five goals in the first interval, Luka Jovic - also a new Eagle - netted even six after the break. Oczipka (2), Blum and Hrgota added to the score line.

Tomorrow the team will have another two training sessions (both public) and on Thursday the USA tour will start with the Eagles' flight to Seattle.

Assistant Coach Armin Reutershahn: "We are happy about this first test; plenty of goals, a clean sheet, good movement and passing - these were all goals for today after the first training sessions. We signed Sébastien Haller and Luka Jovic to strengthen our attack  and we hope they will do good in the league also. But it's good for their confidence to get goals right away."

Eintracht's first half line-up: Hradecky – Da Costa, Russ, Knothe, Oczipka – Medojevic, Cetin – Besuschkow, Kamada, Blum – Haller.
