Eintracht legend Charly Körbel is living proof for talent, hard work, passion and good attitude being the best footballing basics. His all time Bundesliga record of 602 appearances (all of them for Frankfurt!) will probably never be broken. After finishing his Bundesliga career as player and coach he returned to Eintracht as an advisor to the board. One of his many ideas and visions was developing a concept for the Eintracht Football Academy, he attracted some sponsors to the idea, and it was soon founded (in 2001).
That way he made his big dream come true: giving kids a meaningful use of their leisure time and also discovering and developing talents early on. The kids do also benefit from the fun of attending the school: they develop their skills, train tactical knowledge and coordination, and the take their experiences with them to their home clubs.
During public school holidays and also on various weekends and workdays football camps from one to five days are on offer. The school or camps take place at the stadium Commerzbank Arena, or at the local sports facilities of the respective towns or cities.
Also adults enjoy the training sessions with former Bundesliga players during company and sponsor’s events.
