Czech striker Vaclav Kadlec will join the Eagles on a four year contract this week. The 21 year-old striker signed the contract on Sunday.

Kadlec has made 146 competitive matches for Sparta Prague (39 goals) and already gained experience in European competitions and the Czech national side (2 games, 1 goal). He joined Sparta Prague from Bohemians in 2008 and scored his very first league goal at the age of 16. He is 180 cm tall and has a 68 kg weight.
Sporting Director Bruno Hübner: “We are delighted that the deal came together after all. Kadlec has plenty of potential to become a good Bundesliga player, although we need to give him time to adjust to the league. Manager Armin Veh was very keen on signing Kadlec and it’s great that we managed to seal the deal.”
