SGE have signed 23-year old Marvin Bakalorz of Borussia Dortmund. The team has meanwhile won their 5th test match and the first two home matches of the season 2013/14 are sold out. Read a news update!

Bakalorz Signs

Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Marvin Bakalorz from the reserve team of Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year old midfielder joins SGE until 2015. Bakalorz was born in 1989 in Offenbach and made his first football steps in the area of Frankfurt. Also his father Dirk Bakalorz played for Eintracht between 1988 and 1990. In summer 2012, Marvin was promoted to 3. Liga with Dortmund II where he had 31 appearances (13 goals) last season and featured as the team captain.

Test Mach Win v Kayserispor

On the last day of Eintracht's training camp in Lngenfeld/Austria, the Eagles won their fifth test match 3-2 (0-2) against the Turkish club Kayserispor, 5th in the standings of last season's Sper Lig. 400 spectators (approx. 100 of them on-site SGE supporters) saw a second half Eintracht comeback. After Nobre (12') and Chisanischwili (19') had scored for Kayserispor, Alex Meier (66'), Simic (80', own goal) and youngster Luca Waldschmidt (85') turned around the match.

Total Sell-Outs

The first two home matches (against Bayern Mnchen and Borussia Dortmund) are already completely sold-out. Both games will be held in front of 51,500 each, being part of a tough start to SGE's season. Matchday 1 sees Eintracht travel to Berlin to meet newly promoted Hertha, in round 3 the second promotee Eintracht Braunschweig awaits the Eagles. Plus in between Eintracht will play the Europa League play-offs - lots to look forward to!
