Eintracht defender Gordon Schildenfeld and Croatia had already exited the EURO 2012 competition after their group match defeat against Spain. Now Georgios Tzavellas also had to pack up after Greece was beaten 4-2 by Germany in the quarter final on Friday.
Tzavellas who was in the starting 11 has been on a loan spell to AS Monaco but will return to Frankfurt. Greece v Germany was an interesting match to watch for Eintracht supporters as also Fanis Gekas and Nikos Liberopulos - both former SGE strikers - were brought on in the second half for the Hellenic side.
