Very bad luck for Marc Stendera and Eintracht, just weeks after his comeback from a long-term injury he suffered another blow and will be out for the rest of the season.

On Thursday Stendera underwent an arthroscopy on his left knee joint after a meniscus rupture had been diagnosed. He will be out for the remaining games of the season which is especially unlucky as he only came back from a long-term knee injury - nearly a year - when he had a decent comeback against Hoffenheim at the end of April.

Board member Fredi Bobic: "We all feel sorry for Marc, he had such a long time of suffering and did ever so well in fighting back. We hope for a speedy recovery and to have him back for the pre-season preperation ahead of the next campaign."

From everyone at Eintracht: All the best Marc, get well soon!
